About Bile Initiative
Turning academic potential into practical ICT capability.
Bile is a focused skills programme for final-year IT and Computer Science students in Somalia, led by Tabaarak ICT Solutions and delivered with education and institutional partners.
Participants move beyond theory through technical training, close mentorship, and a capstone project. The programme creates a clear bridge between university learning and the confidence required to solve real technology challenges.

01Who is eligible to participate?
The programme is open to eligible final-year IT and Computer Science students from universities in Mogadishu, Somalia. Students enter the process through university nomination.
03How is a technical track assigned?
Students indicate a preferred track during registration. Final allocation is based on eligibility, selected preference, and the available capacity in each domain.
05How is attendance recorded?
Participants receive QR-enabled identification badges for identification and daily attendance tracking throughout the programme.
07Will participants present their projects?
Yes. Completed capstone projects are presented and demonstrated during the programme’s project-presentation stage.
02Can students register directly?
Registration follows nomination. Universities in Mogadishu submit their nominees, and nominated students then receive access to the participant registration process.
04What is the capstone project?
It is an applied project connected to the participant’s technical track. Trainers and mentors provide guidance while participants develop the required deliverables.
06How are capstone projects evaluated?
Projects are assessed against criteria including technical quality, functionality, innovation, teamwork, and presentation readiness.
08Who receives a certificate?
Certificates are awarded at the closing ceremony to participants who successfully complete the programme requirements.
